At St Martin’s Nursery your child will be warmly welcomed by our friendly team. Starting Nursery is a big step, therefore our staff are on hand to support both you and your child to settle into the routines as smoothly as possible. Our Nursery children take part in ‘Muddy Mondays’, where they carry out lots of fun learning activities within our forest school area. They are also presented with a range of stimulating activities that will help them to develop their social skills and develop their communication and language skills, both indoors and outdoors. Throughout Nursery, your child will follow the Development Matters curriculum and will focus on the Prime areas of Communication and Language (CL), Personal, Social and Emotional Development (PSED) and Physical Development (PD). Nursery children have access to their own outdoor learning area, where they have the opportunity to explore the great outdoors and enjoy the range of equipment where they can ride the bikes, use the climbing frames and enjoy the outdoor mud kitchen. Within Nursery we run a number of workshops where parents are invited to join in and enjoy activities with their children.  Your participation and support is always much appreciated so come and join us and see what fun we have!
